Animal Handling

HANDLER relates to anyone who has responsibility, on either a temporary or permanent basis, for feeding, watering, cleaning, exercising, manipulating, loading, crating, moving, transporting, immobilising, restraining, treating, training or working any animal. This includes animal trainers, owners, on-site vets, and production staff assigned these duties. (RSPCA guidelines for the Welfare of Performing Animals)
